 We should conclude by noting that our new framework immediately rescues the basis of ethical action from its cancellation in the pseudo-theories of biological Darwinism and the various attempts at sociology (often quite aware of these issues, we should note) that have emerged in an age of scientism. The basis of action is not voided by reductionist claims on causality, since the 'evolutionary matrix' is both composed of and realizes implicit ethical issues.
